Lost in the Twisty City
and feeling devastated. We stopped in a weird city with tall twisty buildings. There was a cluster of them in a almost circular plot. The cab driver said the ER was somewhere around there. I asked him to stay while I checked. I couldn't find the ER and when I walked back, the cab was gone. I frantically looked around and found the two dogs, piled on a couple of suitcases. I realized that the suitcases were mine. I tried grabbing the suitcases and the dogs, but it was too much. I ended up grabbing both dogs and asking people for where the Veterinarian ER was, they pointed at the plot with the twisty buildings, right in front of them was a small open clinic with animals inside and a little sign that read ER. I handed the dogs to the lady Veterinarian, who was an older beautiful black lady. Even though I knew that they were going to be taken care of, I still felt devastated.
